Evaluation

Evaluation
I’m pleased with the work that I have done during this unit, I have massively improved a number of various different skills from linking sound and video to dubbing voices on any given video.
The skills that I learnt earlier on in the year gave me a massive head start for my final project and I would not have been able or understood how to achieve a product of the same quality without the skills I learned.
I spent a lot of time talking with Jack and discussing the brief that he has given me because I felt that it was important to really understand what my (client) wanted me to achieve with their product. I can take this into the world of work as liaising with clients is one of the most important parts of working in the creative media industry.
Once I was certain I knew what he wanted in full detail , I began spending time researching and working out what I needed to complete brief. I began drafting different ways in which I could deliver the final product and came to the conclusion that the most effective and professional way to address this project was to use my home studio , USB mixer and audio editing software (Cubase).
Once I was ready I began recording and spent a lot of time recording , re-recording , editing , changing and tweaking till I and Jack were both happy with the direction that the Soundtrack was going in.

I discovered during this project that achieving the minimum , getting by , or passing were not acceptable as this project became more about personnel development.
I finished up by doing a final run through of the last mix and tweaked it using Cubase, cut and changed it till it was perfect for Jacks advert.
